Lounge Chair

Lounge Chair

CH25 lounge chair, designed by Hans J. Wegner
The CH25 was designed in 1950, was considered rather revolutionary. It used woven paper cord – a wartime substitution material – for the seat and back.

The CH25 lounge chair has remained extremely popular and in continuous production ever since: a testament to Wegner’s visionary approach.

It takes a skilled craftsman 10 hours to complete one chair seat and back by hand, using about 400 meters of paper cord and a double weaving technique that creates the chair’s unique pattern – the striking result of this detailed process is a unique chair that is equally beautiful and inspiring from all angles.

The chair is available in 6 materials and colours.
